My memory must be failing - I don't remember us signing this player during the January window - https://sportwitness.co.uk/lot-tale...g-player-way-big-praise-south-american-media/
The presence of Cleverley, Assombalonga, Hoedt and Asprilla don't seem to be inspiring the team - currently losing 0-1.
Half time #watfordfc 0 Crewe 1 - doesn’t reflect the game, WFC dominated. Hoedt a real presence at the back, Cleverley very busy and energetic. Good to see Slav here.
On the face of it an article about Man City allegedly cheating the rules - but we feature heavily in it. https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/so...ster-city-have-won-but-what-others-have-lost/
A valid point about Craig Cathcart - his contract ends in June and so far there's been no word of a new offer/extension, so presumably he could be off? At 34 he's nearing the end of his career, but he's still one of the best we've got imo. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/w...rt-call-despite-new-january-signings-opinion/
A one year contract wouldn’t do any harm particularly as he fit and playing well . Probably the most consistent period of his time here.
Manaj been released from his contract . Hardly saw the bloke - injured so much . On that alone what a waste of time and money . Let alone the fact he wasn’t very good. And Hause been left out of the squad .
No place in the squad for Dan Gosling. The club must know that his injury will take some time for his recovery.
That's a fairly strong list of U21s. 10 João Pedro 11 Ismaël Koné 13 João Ferreira 18 Yáser Asprilla 42 James Morris 49 Michael Adu-Poku 50 Adrian Blake 53 Jack Grieves 54 Tobi Adeyemo 57 Ryan Andrews
Would be worth hanging on to, but I doubt the club will be offering him a new contract until they're sure he has fully recovered. I notice we still have room for another squad member - I wonder if they have their eyes on any out of contract players?
Dan Gosling might never be the same again, unfortunately, it is a bad injury. We need to rejuviante the squad. Really, he shouldn't be given a new contract IMHO.
