    Apologies for late post.

I think the positives we should take are -

    1. Gordon looked class when he came on

    2. We discovered Joelinton can covered that CDM spot if needed.

We do struggle sometimes ot break teams down, but at least when we go on bad runs we draw rather than Lose.

    Ratings -

    Pope - 6

Trippier - 7 - Good defending and whipped some good balls in

    Botman - 7 - Solid enough

    Schar - 7 - Good

    Burn - 7

Willock - 6 - He's definitely the weakest link in the team, although unlucky not to have a goal.

Joelinton 8 - MOTM - Apart from a yellow card for diving, he was awesome. Wins balls back, dribbles wonderfully, carries the ball well

    Longstaff - 7

ASM - 4 - A few decent moments of tracking back, but mostly pants. Not interested.

Wilson - 6 - Good goal, took great defending to stop him from bagging a brace.

    Almiron - 7

Gordon - 7 - When he came on he changed the game. His passing and intelligence is so obviously better than ASM's.

How can Joelinton get MOTM after that pathetic dive? Embarrassing stunt - I hope EH has a word with him on doing things like that.

I was only able to see clips of the game, mainly second half, but it was clear as day how much we missed Bruno - our passing to advanced positions were erratic at best.

maybe he thought that the ref and VAR would be fooled
After all this ref was the one that spotted Maddison's dive against us was a pen and VAR backed him up
didn't do Maddison much harm, why we are supposed to be bidding for him, <ok>

Mainly 7s is generous, we were awful. Joelinton and Wilson I'd give a 7 (aside from Jo's appalling dive), most of the rest would be lucky to get 5s.

Give Burn a break he was having to make up for ASM who was wandering around the pitch, at one point Burn looked to play a forward pass and ASM had buggered off to the other side of the pitch, ASM has had his time as the team's out of shape with him on the pitch, cash in this summer and play Gordon as a starter next Saturday.
