How did Wet Leg win two Grammies last night? They're the indie version of 2Unlimited. It's just the same line, Just the same line, the same line line, Same line line line.
Cant be so it must be an away venue , strange choice, or maybe not. My old man used to talk about Carter and Gurney from those days, and he saw some great displays from us in London, in fact he saw as many games in the smoke, as he did at Roker, being mainly on coastal runs, spiced up with the odd Translantic and Russian convoys, before, during and after WW2. Superb portrait tho, and reminiscent of the times, full of character.
Dont take it so seriously its only gift wrapped advertising, but then again, just like everything else, people fall for it.
Speaking of the Grammies, Sam Smith turned up in a Spanish inquisition cosplay. Nobody expected that.

Cleese, one of the original members of Monty Python, said that when he first met George "he offered an excellent idea" which led to "one of the best creative sessions that I can remember". "By dessert we had an overall concept so good that a few days later it won the approval of Rob and Michele Reiner" he said. "Camilla and I look forward enormously to expanding it into a series." Director George said that he was "obsessed with Fawlty Towers" and meeting Cleese and his daughter was one of the "great thrills" of his life. "I've watched the first two seasons so many times that I have lost count," he said. "I dreamed of one day being involved in a continuation of the story, and now it's come true." The 1975 episode, called "The Germans" featured the Major Gowen character using offensive language and Basil saying "don't mention the war." Cleese criticised the decision, saying: "I would have hoped that someone at the BBC would understand that there are two ways of making fun of human behaviour. "One is to attack it directly, and the other is to have someone who is patently a figure of fun, speak up on behalf of that behaviour." Streaming service UKTV temporarily removed the episode while it carried out a review, but it was reinstated with a warning about "offensive content and language." The original show was written by Cleese and Connie Booth.

'God is neither male nor female': Church of England is considering gender-neutral terms The new project, run by two bodies of the church, will begin in spring. Any potential alterations would mark a departure from traditional Jewish and Christian teachings, but some are already criticising the possibility of change. https://news.sky.com/story/god-is-n...-is-considering-gender-neutral-terms-12805759
