Good news, it's a back four (it would seem). Bad news, about half of that team I don't really want starting.
On the whole, I’ll take that. Positives: Back four Lyanco dropped Perraud in Midfield three Two wide players New boys on the bench Negatives: Where is DCC? Where is Orsic? Bednarek playing (make that logic work) KWP out injured Would rather we weren’t relying on Diallo and Moi
Essentially, Jones was lying when he said that playing DCC in the B team was to give him minutes as he hadn’t played for a week. You don’t give a player minutes and then drop him, unless he got injured. If that’s the case, it’s an even stupider decision.
I would’ve thought so if it were not for Orsic getting the same treatment. Just Jones trying to be clever again, I think.
Wouldn’t be a surprise . Why does Jones tell the world about his discussions with players? Surely good management should respect confidentiality?
Not going to get frustrated by the lack of DCC, did that yesterday. Sally and Janny B never worked under Ralph. Let’s hope they can make it work today. I think with that lineup it’s important we keep it 0:0 in the first half, then bring on Tall Paul and Usain Bolt in the second half to win it. Please Saints
Probably more forcefully told Jones that we can’t defend with a back 5. And he took that as “maybe you can’t, you’re out”. We desperately need something today and I just do t seeing us getting it. Our manager is just too insecure
I get the deadline day guys being on the bench. But it is quite funny/painful that we’ve signed 5 players in January to try and turn this around for us and the only one that starts is the guy from Luton.
Luton fans did warn us that he had favourites. (obviously the lack of KWP/Tino/Larios means we have no other real options, although I’m still surprised he isn’t shoehorning CBs out wide)
