No school for my middle child today. Someone sent an email to the school saying "I put a bomb on the third floor and I'll shoot any 'Nrs' who try to stop me detonating it". (Not verbatim but something like that)

Sounds like complete load of crap and a hoax, but they have to take those threats seriously so kids all got sent home. About once a year a kid gets caught and expelled for bringing a gun to school... Not any plans on using it just "look how cool I am, I have a gun, admire me for being cool" type events.

Sure it's a hoax, but wonder what prompted kid to send that from his school email address, he knows he's going to get expelled now... Unless someone hacked into his account... They'll get caught and expelled instead.

Absolutely ****ing batshit crazy.

 

Kids don't mind. Free extra day off.

Teacher getting shot was tragic though. All these people saying "if you outlaw guns it will make it worse because only outlaws will have guns" completely ignore Australia which at one point had lots of guns too.

They banned guns and shootings stopped. Miraculous.

I'm in a bit of a silly mood today. Tempted to create a couple of sock puppets that I will never make a post with.

1) "Your Tiny Penis" and go trolling a bunch of other forums on here. Any place someone says something disgusting I will like it with that account so it says "Your Tiny Penis likes this". "Your Mum" is an alternative but over used alternative.

2) "A Gay Rapist" and click follow on a bunch of people's profiles so they get the notification "A Gay Rapist is following you".


I'm too lazy to do either right now, currently laziness is overwhelming my smouldering desire to cause mischief.

Of course could never make a post with either account or it would ruin the effect.

our stupid owners had a 50mil site for houses, forced the club to pay for Kirkby and never got the return they should have off melowwd them go waste more money buying it back so we can have even lase mens team buys so they can fund the women's team

zero strategy. they were quite happy at the time of this sale to let the women's team fall apart totally and get relegated.

now suddenly they want to go buy a training ground and purchase a heap of players etc.

no joined up thinking.

same for the plot of development land right opposite the main stand. zero intent apparently to bid on it.

Does the budget for the mens and womens team get merged? Or are the businesses managed seperately? I wouldn't have thought a purchase from the women's side of the house would detract from the mens; that it would be taken out of what is allotted for the women instead.

Another bomb threat and shooting threat. This time sent from the account of someone else. Someone has hacked school email and sending the threats from random students.

Apparently two different student accounts were used for the threats yesterday. They're also posting the same threats to other high schools in the district now.

One of the Mothers sent my wife this, supposedly a photograph of a screen of one of the messages sent. Not sure how long the daisy chain of people forwarding it is, so not sure if it's real or not. (Took down photo because it had a watermark of someone's name on it, and I'm not sure if that's a real person or not, so didn't want to post it here). Basically someone bragging how they were going to kill people and can't be caught.

 

It's all one pot to fsg.

There will be holding companies etc.

 

If that happened here I'd guess it was some sort of sick prank, but as it's in the trigger-happy US I wouldn't be sure.

 

The school says they think it's a prank, but they have to take it seriously.

 

You'd have to - the possible consequences of ignoring a genuine threat are unthinkable.
Even here it would have to be taken seriously, but the chances of any disaffected student having a bomb and/or gun are slim.
Over there where you can buy a tank at the corner shop you have to be cautious.

 

She's getting ready for school now. Her friends have all said they're not going in today. I don't think she should, not because I think there is any real threat, but because with most kids and parents not taking their kids in after two straight days of evacuations... There won't be much constructive schooling today with most kids out...

 

I assume the school has been checked for the alleged bomb?

 

Someone's got to get the ball rolling though mate. Better to have some education than nothing at all

 

After mcveigh it's a lot harder to get bomb making in the USA than a gun.

if someone rings in a bomb threat it's 99.99% a hoax.

if they ring in a gun threat it's 100%
