Prefer to sidestep and not answer the question? Fair enough.

Go and look at Borussia Dortmund, Brighton and even Leicester's transfers, then come back to me about your last sentence.

Well I apologise if people think I overreact. But I’m not standing for baseless slander, I just don’t see the point.

Yeah we mostly all get on well and our opinions differ that’s what I like about this board
The main common factor is we all want the best for sunderland
Some want it now and others can wait
Let’s just get behind the management and support what they do
    We can’t make any difference
And this happy clapper bit well that’s there way of saying I’ll follow till I die so the saying is
However give criticism when it’s due
I’m not adverse to been not happy at time
Nevertheless I still turn up for the next game

We should approach him ourselves and offer him twice whatever Everton offer, no matter the cost, just to **** them over for what they've done to us with Simms.

Not bitter at all or owt.

I'm just saying - its twice in the last 20 hours you've asked to have your account deleted because somebody has disagreed with you.

No need to apologise - like I say I keep agreeing with you. And I should mind my own business for sure. But just wanted to offer a perspective as to why people coming back at you

A lad on twitter has just been DM'ing one of the French journalists who broke the Lihadji news and he reckons he can play as a 9 like

Sadly the French journo is only guessing, as Lihadji has not once ever played up front in his career. Only ever on the wing.

Not saying he can't transition, which might be what the journo is saying, but he's got no experience of playing up top.

Stewart wasn't involved in Clarke's goal and the Rigg offside goal tore Fulham apart, they wouldn't have stopped it if it was onside ...

...we had 6 on target efforts with only 30% possession.

Amad has scored much better goals than Stewart and he improves every week.

    Just saying.

My biggest concern is that we may have to change our style. Just hope Gelhardt can make them runs in behind like Ross does

I'm so much more relaxed about us going strikerless now than in September.

    1. Mowbray had only just come in, we hadn't found our way under him
    2. Our players were still trying to find THEIR feet in the league and what worked and how
    3. Those players are now lots more experienced
    4. Amad and Roberts weren't really firing then
    5. Ballard was injured and so our defence was more susceptible

Whereas back then, we'd give away possession too much because we didn't have a number 9, and that led to us conceding more. Now I think that us giving away possession might actually help. Our defence is superb. And our players are very suited to countering (see the Reading wonder goal).

Not for one second saying its by design, but playing with a false 9 now may end up actually being a suitable formation. When it really wasn't / shouldn't have been back then. 5 months is a long long time for a team this young playing at this level for the first time.
