I will always have time for NP. He was what we needed, a cheap solution for a club in trouble. What I find odd is that he is going back to the Foxes. That smacks of a lack of confidence. It is not the sort of step up I would have expected.
Agreed but it is for money. £1.1m a year for 3 years, even if he's sacked he will still get at least £2m. Can't blame him, I just thought he was a loyal man full of integrity when actually he's the complete opposite!
If he uses that excuse then it's a total cop out. He's a grown man for Christ sake and the majority liked him. He left for one thing - money. He sure as Hell didn't go for stability. He comes across as a man who doesn't give two flying ****s what people think of him, if he did he wouldn't be such a prick in interviews.
If he comes out with all this ' I was never appreciated or loved by the fans' ****e then whatever respect I had left for the man would vanish in an instant . I do a job that I ****ing loathe, get paid in a year what Pearson does in a month . No one appreciates what I do, no one thanks me or tells me what a great job I'm doing . In fact it's usually the opposite . Do I bitch and moan like a girl about this ? No , that's because I live in the real world and don't need my ego massaging like every **** in professional football does . The solid gold truth is it's all about the money and nothing else . If he just said ' I've been offered three times what I'm on at Hull so I'm off . Cheers and goodbye' I'd honestly have no Ill feeling towards him . Just don't make yourself look a cock and blame the fact we never loved you , it would be beyond pathetic . Oh and get a proper haircut .
Unless Pearson spends his nights scanning Hull City fanboards and listening to Blunderside then I don't really see where he's finding all this nonsense about ill feeling from the fans. At games there have never been anti-Pearson chants, only pro-Pearson chants.
Probably the lack of Pearson chants, booing at the end of games, not staying behind to "thank the players" at the end of last season. I'm certainly proud to have played my part.
How many times can you honestly say you've heard any chants at the KC which include his name ? Probably why he's leaving , nothing to do with his big **** off pay rise .
I haven't heard very many Pearson chants, however it's not surprising. A lot of the fans will judge him on how well we do in the league. Stupidly, there was a lot of fans last season who had high expectations (of the play-offs) which weren't fulfilled, this was worsened with the rather dull football we played for the most part and our dreadful start to the season. In the end, Pearson had the respect from the majority of the real Hull fans, not the love.
Don't be a knob, he is not the only manager in the world - harsh my arse - he's proven to be a duplicious dick who can't even follow his own so-called moral code. I'll laff my self sober when he gets sacked - I wish you luck though, nowt personal with you lads, you can't help but be knobs when a whole bunch of em run your club.
What part, precisely did you play, O Wise One? (I only ask as I wasn't there to witness your walk-on role)
Not being fully behind the manager. If NP has left because of that, then I and many others deserve credit, no? Retro but a good one.
NP's been in a job for about a year. Would you feel unwavering loyalty for a job if you'd only been there a year ? One that you'd had to move to, and had no affinity with in the first place. No-one's indispensable. And around the corner, there could, hopefully, be someone to take us on to the next level.
