I think we wouldn't have bought anyone regardless, except gakpo was available at what FSG considered to be good value.
yeah whingy ****s. what did fsg ever do for them anyway aside form.end 30 years of waiting and so forth and so on.
A lot of people have been saying Milner is done. I don't agree with that. He looks after himself and is still a good option in a limited capacity. For me the worrying thing is that he looks a lot better than Trent atm.
Hahaha!! No, we don't. Desperate press manipulation. Liverpool consider last-gasp transfer for £45m Chelsea star who rejected Everton on Monday (msn.com)
I agree with you that we need to offload some, but at the same time: Get rid of them! It's time to stop making excuses for the management of this club. Be ruthless. Was there any need to extend Hendo and Milner recently? Why can't we force Naby or Ox out last summer? No doubt we have to take a hit but just get it done. Klopp was literally talking about extending Milner again this year! Same with Bobby as well. I'm tired of this excuse that we had so many midfielders - if we had enough midfielders, we wouldn't have to be using 18 year Bajetic as regular starter now.
to be honest i am shocked that the club think telling the friendly press on 2nd Jan we won't be buying any more and then having klopp keep saying it is the right way to make fans happy. I mind most fans live in a delusion anyway and will believe anything their club tells them and turn on anyone daring to contradict it. if we said it's hard but we are working on it then go along and leak a few no chance rumours and such as the time goes on then I'm sure half the lfc fans online would simply be bemoaning the lack of talent available now. at least arsenal have the good grace to fake bid on caicedo knowing Brighton have no intent to sell. it softens the blow then another xhaka turns in in the form of the slow arese jorginho

I hope everyone is resigned to the fact that we're not getting anyone, so that when the window closes there won't be a resurgence of recriminations and the same old wailing and gnashing of teeth - cos if there is I might need to go away for a few days again, and I know how much you all miss me.
What a mess we are in at the moment. Konate injured VVD injured Jota injured Diaz injured Bobby injured. Midfield is shocking and no attempt to bring a decent midfielder in before the deadline. This season will be very painful for us, it has been awful so far but really, FSG don’t have a clue
If rumours are correct Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea ( Enzo Fernandez) are all signing midfielders tonight. If Chelsea do spend over £110 million on Fernandez, their spend goes to something like £650 million, this is the crazy world of the Prem now and we are failing
We don't have to spend as much as Chelsea (that's insane, and is the direct result of them being allowed to just write off £1.5bn of debt by saying it was Abramovich's, imo), but it's a false dichotomy * for the club to be trying to say that because they're not throwing money around like drunken sailors then they're somehow being wise and sagacious. * @saintKlopp
