Reckon it’s Wrexham or Sheff Utd away (well it couldn’t possibly be a home tie, could it). Thought we did enough on Saturday, and there were a few positives, certainly Bamford, Harrison and Wober all did well. Thought Roca played better than a few people give him credit for. Thought “Sini” looked extremely rusty and more lacking in fitness than I anticipated. Think if we complete the 2 signings today, even accepting we haven’t got a much needed LB, it’ll have been a terrific last 2 transfer windows, albeit disappointed with Kristenson and Aaronson’s performances of late. Think Llorente needs to move away, as he’s not cut out for PL physicality, so a move to Serie A suits all parties. A lot of people, on here, have complained about Victor. I’m not one of them. Yeah he’ll get a few wrong, but sadly that’s what happens when you dabble in the transfer market. Sometimes you get an Augustin or Brolin. MOT
This young kid looks pretty decent playing in front of a packed stadium. Skill, can see a pass, comfortable in defence and a bit of a beast. This could be a great signing today
It’s gathering pace on Twitter but apparently Jacks agreed terms with Leicester £25m with £1m add ons, Cresswell Leeds have said he can go if someone meets the £4m
Still think 25m is bad business. If he was a Brighton player they'd be looking for 80m and holding out for it too
It's a funny one with Jack. If we signed him now, that player who can be brilliant but also inconsistent for £ 25 million you can be certain plenty would be moaning about him being a waste of money for that fee. Also, who does he automatically start in front of if everyone is available? I had really hoped we wouldn't sell any of our better players in this window but, maybe he has told the club he has no intentions of signing a new contract so what are the club supposed to do? Mind, selling to a potential relegation opponent stinks but, at least, he is cup tied
From what I understand Coventry want Cresswell. If Harrison is going when I imagine that we've got Noa Lang already lined up.
Why? Bamford, Rodrigo, Sinisterra, Georginio, Gnonto, Summerville, Aaronson and now McKennie can all play front three. That's 6 specialist forwards and two good fill ins for 3 spaces in the starting XI. Let's not forget Dan James out on loan too. Noa Lang would be a waste. A left back HAS to be next.
Agreed on the left spot but it leaves us with our a winger with James at Fulham all season and it looks like he's won't play for us again. Anyway it looks like my guess was premature as we're meant to be look at Perez from Leicester.
