A former player was left out/withdrawn from Real Sociedad's team as talks intensify of him wanting a move back to NUFC - Merino would be a canny back up to Bruno. Twitter talk needs salt.
Gordon interview was very good, seemed a lot more down to earth and nice than I expected. Remember his scrap with our back four this season, he was a real nightmare for us that game and he ruffled their feathers. If we can get the best out of Gordon he will be a hell of an asset for us.
Thought the exact same thing and rather than try and sugar coat it, mentions it in the interview saying he now fights for us. Some speed being injected into the team with him, Willock, Miggy and Isak n all.
He has release clause of €25m according to Fabrizio. IF true, then this feels like a piss take. He's 18 and has potential, just pay them the €25m.
It's easy for us to say it's only another 5 million but it's a business and they're trying to max out ffp. Also you don't want to be weak in the market.
Chelsea are about to spend another £100m and apparently Barca have been told by La Liga to strip £150m a year out of their wage bill. I can see the other leagues pushing the governing bodies for some sort of level playing field eventually… a real one.
What would that do? Despite people's beliefs, most Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, have actually been turning profits as of late.
Profile pic not in a Leicester shirt. Harrison Ashby did similar before moving from West Ham. Where’s the Steve Carrell “it’s happening” GIF. If this does happen it’s ****ing mental.
