You need to apply it first, there's always tomorrow, I'm sure Mrs Two will find you something that needs painting.
thanks for this….the first touch to control the balls from connelly is sublime I wonder what he’s like in the warm up
During the game watching Connolly I had this thought that he is a proper Hull City striker, I wasn't even sure what I meant but it was interesting to hear Rosie say something similar in his post match interview.
Clever ploy by LR though. Use taller players in all other positions so Connolly looks even smaller and can sneak past the offside trap without anyone noticing. Genius
Hull boss Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside: "Aaron won't get top marks from me - he missed the first chance. He's someone I have loved for a long time - I've known him since he was 16 and I know what he is capable of. He is an angry fellow and you have to know how to manage him to get the best out of him. "He's had a difficult career, he's 23 today and he's learned from it. I've learned from mistakes in life, and he's willing to accept that. "He's a Hull City player and showed exactly what this club is about - how hard he worked for the team. He chased lost causes, held the ball up and the fans will enjoy having him at the club. "To celebrate in front of your home fans for the first time in what seems like an eternity is the really pleasing thing, but it's been coming with the performance levels being the way they've been. "At Sheffield United we played very well against a good side and didn't get our reward. I'm delighted with every single player in the squad because they are all giving everything for the cause." QPR boss Neil Critchley: "We were miles off. Our start to the game was passive at best - in and out of possession. Out of possession, we were nowhere good enough. Once the game settled down we did better, but it was still not good enough. "Possibly the only positive at half-time was that it was 1-0. We started the second half better but then we conceded an awful goal, a horrible goal. "If you look at the recent history of this football club, it's quite clear to me that a few things need to change. What's the saying? 'Either the people change or you change the people'. "It's nothing to do with tactics or ability but when it's hard, we lack the certain basics of football. When the going gets tough you need people to stand up and do the ugly side of the game better than we do. "It's a challenge. I enjoy a challenge, but it's quite clear to me where this team need improving. We need to change and we need to change quickly." Ps 'Connolly, celebrating his 23rd birthday'
Finally, what a game & performance, a stuffing been coming, was great to resurrect the old songs, Mauled and we’re winning at home, how **** etc...Home win, at last, icing on the cake a clean sheet. All played their part to a man, but what a player that Connolly could be, smallish, but aggressive, feisty, not going to be knocked off the ball, just what we need. Sublime ball from Seri for that goal. Thought Elder played well, first start in ages. Tufan showing why he should be starting, funny to see how he had drifted out of the game, about to be subbed at about 60 mins and then comes to life with the goal, subs sat down. QPR poor, not really troubling us, Ingram on hand when needed. And, nice to see for a change, a ref who actually reffed the game, didn’t take any nonsense. All hail, the nanna from Hull’s grandson, Rosey, what a difference and overall transformation. Just. Buzzing. Like....
I absolutely detest the ‘how **** must you be’ chant, always have, might as well chant ‘we’re normally ****’.
Just think, if you had a wife she would have made you stay in painting and then you would have had as good an afternoon as tiger1970.
Connolly has got better from full gloves to finger mittens to under armour top..... what will he be like in short sleeves..!!!
Yeah, if only, instead, I had to have haddock and chips ( with scraps) from Cave Street, four pints of lovely stout in Pave then sit through that 5hite and watch City maul the Drama's. Then return home to a lovely warm house and a wife, the same one I've had for 48 years mind, and a delicious home made chicken curry. Where did it all go wrong?
