The name of the game is to win the game. I think it was the best team to play. Unfortunate with Ross but we move on. Terrific first half performance. HTL!!!
I know mate I was being facetious. We'd definitely not do that (look at Willis and hopefully Evans). But if he's ruptured his achilles it will be a long time before we see him again. Hopefully just a tear.
Eh? What a ****e thing to do that would be. Achilles injuries can be overcome. I snapped mine and got back to charging around on a Sunday morning. He'll get back. And I'd show some trust in him now and give him a deal.
Wey here's hoping it's not too bad. I see your point about him playing, for the fans, prize money etc but I still maintain he should have been benched.
Will everyone get real , injuries happen in all kind of ways . I would suggest we as a club have suffered more injuries whilst training than in matches . TM says Ross wants to play all of the time to keep his intensity , he could have just as easily hurt himself in training .
Aye man I was joking / facetious. **** joke I know. Was just pissed off. We'd of course never do that, My point was more if its an achilles rupture its going to be over a year.
Look at the squad, look at the long term plan. Take young talented players, develop them into better players. No better way to learn than up against a premiership team. We want all our best players on the pitch to experience what it’s like to be up against quality opposition and see the level they need to be playing at. Every player we have should be crawling over broken glass to be first on that pitch today.
I've torn my achilles before and it hurt but didn't pop. And I was able to hobble away. The way he went down makes me **** scared he's ruptured it. Which would have been career ending as recent as 15 years ago but I understand things have improved to the point it might only take a year or so?
