We need to see these incoming players, about whom we know very little. We may have seen youtube highlights, and heard from their previous clubs fans, but,it's very difficult to get a view about them without seeing them on the pitch. I do know one thing, the vast majority of our fans know a footballer when they see one,and if we see it,we'll know! And,if we see it,they will know they have our massive support.
TM just been speaking about having the experienced leaders in the dressing room. Be surprised if we don’t keep a core of them unless bring in other older heads.
Wonder if they'll ask Tony after the game if there's anything we're still looking to do before Wednesday now that Gelhardt has arrived.
I’d like to see an experienced player come into the squad for the No 6 role, nowEvans is out. It’s a lot of pressure on Neil, Michut, Ekwah & Ba … we’ll get a good idea of how well they can cope today
Embleton needs to stay. Only 23 and technically very good. Shame he got injured I think TM could have brought the best out of him He's worked wonders for Dan Neil
We're on 41 points and looking comfortable. I'd rather see how these younguns handle the pressure and keep yo our policy. I think we may be surprised.
I agree mate, I think they’ll do very well but an experienced head will help us through tough periods in games. That could be the difference between making the playoffs or not. Only has to be a loan and we see what Evans has got left to offer at end of season. It doesn’t need to disrupt progress.
I think Dan Neil has been growing into that role...with Edu,Ekwah and Ba around him,Matete to come back, who I really like...........looks good to me. Not sure about today with a PL team to face.....we'll see.
Me too mate. Anyone with eyeballs in their heads can see what's going on at Sunderland, but ofcourse, the outrage over the Mags takeover has vanished as quick as the Qatar world cup outrage because some football got played so now its how fantastic Newcastle are and you know what, f**k them all. we'll just keep doing what we're doing. Long live the club.
It's only been a few short months, so potentially too early to say, but for me, and this is only my humble opinion ofcourse, but is it fit to say that The Gaffer is the perfect fit for us? Because not since Big Sam has there been a feeling about the club from top to bottom. Tony has came in, not as everyone's first choice and just got on with it. I can see now, why Blackburn fans were gutted he left. Youth gets a chance and dear me is our team youthful. Yes in game mistakes have been made, but some of the football this season has been top top quality as have some of the goals. Put it this way, if Premier Leauge teams had scored some of your goals, c**k would've been in hands in the Sky Sports studio. Odegaard played a pass a few weeks ago that lead to a nice goal and ofcourse the jizz was flowing on the studios and my first reaction was "tune into the Championship now and again if you like stuff like that", but I digress, anyone. H'WTHFL. Long Live The Club.

That's what we should've done with Maja to at least try and get promoted with his goals. Blackburn clearly think they have a better shot at the playoffs. Calculated risk you could say.
Just imagine 'Henderson'on deadline day. I think even Jim White would j*** everywhere. I can but dream!!!!!
