45 million gets you a Joelinton, a Bruno, St max or even a Wilson thats my issue with the price, there's much better out there for less

Can't pretend to be anything other than very underwhelmed by the signing of Gordon. His stats don't show any real positives other than running around and I have never been impressed watching him. Not once. He has 3 assists and 7 goals in 65 games across 6 seasons for Everton. However, there are people at the club who know far more about his potential than I do so he will have my full support and I will be hoping I am very very wrong. Just please cut out the crap diving!|
I don't care what happens to other clubs. I care about us winning games. We're trying to be a big club now, part of which involves losing the small club mentality of worrying what other clubs do!

Joelinton was bought years ago and people took the piss out of him and his price tag. There should come a point when fans realise they don't have a clue about market value or players abilities. The same people that saw value in the players you mentioned see value in Gordon. If Gordon came from Brazil and nobody had ever seen him play they'd be lapping this up.
No but suddenly pretending he's looked anything other than Average to Poor is rubbish, its the same stuff the Forest fans are telling themselves on their board about Chris Wood, suddenly he's a fantastic hold up player who loves to get stuck in.
Anyone can make England U21, U18 appearances, Shola had **** loads of them. The England team has plenty of young players right now, at 21 he's still nowhere near the full team.
Put simply, last year we got Guimaraes as Trippier in January, this year we're getting Antony Gordon.
We have sold a 30 year old dud for 20 million and signed one of englands hottest prospects for 40m at the age of 21. Wow!
I actually thought he looked like a tremendous little player last season. I would tell you with a high degree of certainty that the scouts know he's not average mate. He's a very good young player that will be worth ****loads if he adds finishing to his game.
He isn't one of England's hottest prospects. There may well be potential in there, and I am really hoping there is, but he isn't one of the country's hottest prospects.
