I noticed with Dyche that he managed to get a lot of his players from the Championship and barely went out of England to sign people up. Yeah they've got £40 million but in modern standards it's not much. My Brother in law said to me that Everton was a championship standard squad. My guess is if Dyche does keep them up then he will have to do a Forest and sign a new squad whilst getting rid of the old guard or they're gonna be in this situation every year. It's gonna be like Sunderland before they got relegated from the Prem.

Maybe the theory is if we have enough quality in midfield & attack then it will massively take the pressure of the defence and if that were to happen then maybe the defenders we have are actually good enough ?
Sounds like a strong straw to clutch at. Koch and wober could be a good central pairing, Ayling or Ras at rb, solid but not spectacular. LB, might as well play firpo, no worse than Struijk defensively and better going forward . That’s my straw to clutch at.
