If TS wants CAFC to break even he ought to go busking on the platforms at Charlton station.
He's good at changing his tune.

There are rumours that Andy Scott was not hired for the January transfer window, but he was hired to value the squad as part of the due diligence process.

Not sure why he would need 6 weeks mind

Bonne signing confirmed. As a stand alone, I'll get behind Bonne. God knows we need more options up front. And for those who say he won't be good enough for the Championshop, we won't be going there just yet.

Very worried about the Dobson rumour, but sadly, that's how it's always been at Charlton. If he goes I hope we can get a like for like replacement, but I won't hold my breath.

I imagine we'll get a new fullback and move Clare to Dobbo's role.

Could be worse, Clare looks neat going forward but he isn't great at marking for setpieces.

i'm waiting for one of our better players to be flogged. and then we'll be told "we finish the window overall stronger".... while that might be true for the next month, when the 3 or 4 in, leave at the end of the season, it'll leave our squad in absolute bits

If George Dobson is sold it will just prove that Sandgaard has no interest in CAFC being competitive on the pitch.
    Money for players.
    No better than Roland.
While fans continue to turn their backs and don't renew season tickets.

Operation Break even springs to mind - Dobson has been one of the only positive things this season , if he’s sold we’ll be scrapping down in the relegation zone come the end of the season

Dean Holden making him skipper shows he appreciates his value to the team. I hope his opinion is asked for.

I think the Takeover is edging closer. About ten people were shown around the training ground yesterday. I would expect the Takeover to be done by the end of this month.

A few so-so January signings may well be enough to keep us in lower mid-table.
But we need Dobson and more players like him if we're ever going to have even slim hopes of promotion.
Selling him would sent the bluntest message that there is zero ambition for better football among the suits who call the shots.

We've had enough of this gutless brand of Stewardship.

Craig MacGillivray has joined League One side Burton Albion on a permanent deal.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper signed for Charlton in June 2021 and made 51 appearances during his time with the Addicks.

Manager Dean Holden said: “Craig has been a thorough professional since I arrived at the club. We’ve had some good conversations and I made it clear to Craig that Ashley Maynard-Brewer is our current number one and that Craig was free to move on.

“The move is the right deal for the football club and gives Craig the opportunity to go and play regularly. We wish him well.”

The club would like to thank Craig for his efforts during his time with Charlton and wish him all the very best in his future career.

There is an EFL website page showing all current embargos (assuming they are no longer running 'secret' ones - supposed to have stopped that in 2021).
I'll post the link when I get home.
