Great from Harry, but that was an awful half even our good players (Harry excepted) have been terrible. But I wanna focus on Sonny, I will give him credit he never hides and is still trying to get involved, but he is a shadow of the player of the last few seasons. I am not sure I have never seen a player who was such a good runner with the ball become so poor with the ball at his feet, his first touch as gone and every running touch is either to close or overhit so that he either has to so slow down or just loses the ball, it truly saddens me to see a player that I love struggling so badly.
It's become the standard to hares and kick Spurs. I see this time and time again. We are now getting back to football from the 70's when the French regularly were kicked off the park than finally the rules were changed to protect skillful play and forwards. We are reverting to a more old fashioned hard football. That's why we needed Dave Mackay in the middle.
I am not blaming Son for this. Every time he gets the ball he is brought down in short order. He has to adapt to a changed interpretation of the rules.
Bloody hell NUFC put there heads above halfway for the first time in years and Mr Toon army is giving us lessons
