Can’t help thinking that Aji Alese played some part in the new lad signing. Two mates from their WHU team and I bet Aji has somehow influenced him coming. Maybe they were mates or Speakman asked if he knew anybody we should go after. Pierre has a friendly face in the dressing room and Aji can help him settle in as well as talking to him if he doesn’t get into the first team straight away. Aji also had a bumpy start but came good quickly. By the way, is it right that Alese only had cramp. He was playing so well until he had to go off. Hope he’ll be fine for maybe a half hour against Fulham to get more minutes in and then be ready for a league start after that.
I really liked him we always looked a lot better with him in but he always seemed to get injured around the hour mark
I'm sure I read somewhere it was just cramp but can't remember where. No injury was mentioned by Mowbray after the game so fingers crossed. Wouldn't be surprised if it was just cramp because he was flying down the left hand side and hasn't had much football recently.
Another player that about as specific as he can be, it maybe a loan, or a loan which option to buy but if not it will be permanent but things might change and the come in through the window and as he says the people that know, knows what he said and that he knows
That's a great point that Southern. Imagine in a few weeks time the Aji and Pierre messaging their old players at WHFC in front of our fans, I reckon they'd be grreen with envy. Starting to get a mini France in players as well. What's that now 3? The KLD effect surely gripping them.
Can't say I'd ever heard of the lad before our connection, but that's par for me. I rarely have! But Im quite happy, along with most or probably all, to let those getting on with it, get on with it. They have more than earned our trust. Not much more than two years ago we were an ordinary League One team looking over our shoulder as much as over the hilltop, and doing it with the worst manager we have ever had, employed by the worst owner. There may still be a trace presence of that worst owner still avoiding the defumigator, but he can be discounted as a relevant figure. This just goes to show, if everyone is doing the right things all the time, how much progress can be made in such a short time. The transformation is mind bending.
Speaks very well doesn't he. That's the other thing I've noticed about these young lads we have signed, they all seem switched on. Going back to Cirkins first interview, Hume etc. A lot of work must go into researching their characters as well.
Haven't heard anything on Evans' injury from the weekend but I wouldn't have thought he would be risked at the weekend so you may well be spot on.
