Well to be fair you aren’t going to go in there saying you’re going to be in a dogfight from the get go, ref David Moyes :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I said when he left Chelsea it was harsh, they signed players he didn’t want and were no better in the few seasons before he took over and they’re certainly no better now even after they’ve spent megabucks.

Evertons squad is shocking and DCL/Richarlison were a huge source of their goals in the last few seasons. One was sold and not replaced whilst the other is never fit. Paying ridiculous fees for bang average players then having to Sign/Loan players on the cheap who couldn’t get a game for other bottom half teams around them because the same big fee players aren’t available or at the club anymore. I’d say probably only Bournemouth have been fielding a worse Xl than Everton recently.

The trouble is Bob, the club themselves have said they want players in, plural ...

... simply repeating that isn't too interesting tbh.

Of course you can post what you want, but random comments like that people are going to question why you bother posting it when it's got no substance behind it , then you get defensive when people comment about the information being cryptic and pointless, then you comment how this board is turning into RTG, that is only happening since the posters from OR moved across here.

not sure why there is an expectation for players to be moving around in the january window, it always seems a bit of a let down most seasons...i would hope we can get cover for strikers and maybe an 'evans' replacement/cover, after that any loans for lads that need the experience would do as our current squad is doing canny.

maybe the club does not want promotion yet and will be happy with a middle league position for a season or two.

There's nothing wrong with decent people from RTG posting on here, it's a better place for rational discussion on the actual thread subject. This board only suffers when a few people, intent on disruption, are allowed to cause trouble. They stand out more, because of the lower number of posters, and feel self important.

I'm sure if we had a chance at promotion we'd go for it. The main thing is to carry on the path we are going on. All the building blocks are now in place for future success

Promotion would be great, even if it's 'too early', as I'm sure the club have planned for that scenario as well. I'm sure that planning would be to keep things pretty much as they are and not disrupt the squad too much. A relegation wouldn't be a disaster providing we continue to play good football and end up with a similar squad who now have a season's PL experience behind them.

There's a couple I still have conversations with that are sound, I was on there myself, I actually moved across here when prehab26 did, basically because he seemed to be one of the few with genuine info, the abuse he was getting was a disgrace for someone who was trying to give a bit of info.
I came across to basically get any snippets he was posting and couldn't believe the difference across here so I just stopped.
I sometimes have the odd look across and there are some good lads, especially GOM he's so informative, only problem is his explanations are a little too intellectual and find myself not understanding a word he's said
