Now we find out how good Gnonto is. Brentford not only doubled up on him but they threw 3 defenders at him when they could. He's gonna have to get used to that and find a way to release other attackers as he drags those defenders around. I've said all season that we are a good side.
A point against a top 8 team is OK by me and would have snapped your hand off pre-KO but again sounds like we could have got all 3. Really hope we can get that win against Florist.
It was a good performance imo. Wober looks to have steady the defensive ship. All we need now is some luck to go with it.
Disappointed not to see Rutter. Thought it was written in the stars for him to come on in a tight game and get the winner. A fully match fit Sinisterra takes that ball in and scores.
The only downside was we’re quickly becoming predictable down the left with Gnonto. Aaronson was a bit better second half but we need to offer the same threat down the right. Once we manage that teams won’t be able to afford doubling up on Gnonto, hopefully Sinisterra or Rutter will be offering that second outlet soon Harrison got in Gnonto’s way a few times, I’m okay with Harrison and Aaronson not standing out as they’re surely going to be the two having to make way for Summerville, Rutter and Sinisterra
The options we are going to have for those front three positions is frightening. Rodrigo, Bamford, Gnonto, Rutter, Sinisterra, Summerville, Harrison, Gelhardt, Greenwood, Perkins. We've got James out on loan too. Have I missed anyone? An embarrassment of riches. How the **** Marsch keeps them all happy I'll never know.
My view is to cash in on one of them and finance a proper left back. Only saw the 2nd half and thought we looked pretty good. I would have sent Rutter on just for the unknown factor. Brentford wouldn’t have prepared for him.
Joffy and Perkins surely have to go out on loan, Harrison it’s either sign a new contract or cash in, personally I’d cash in
