He's finished for the club as far as I'm concerned.

Pardew has never liked him. I remember at the beginning he used to keep moaning that he turned up later for training etc. He gets arrested and puts no effort in at the club, its almost as if he wants to get fired. We should fire him, free up his wages to use on youngsters who actually want to play football for the club rather than trying to be a gangster.

He is a waste of space, if I got into as much trouble as this lad there would be no way i'd keep my job. Surely the club could terminate the contract without having to pay him off?

I think he has the potential to be great, he came on a few times last season and changed the games (livepool for one) but this year he has been a complete idiot. I think he was ok when he first came here because it was just him and his lass up here maybe? but now i think his mates have come up from London so he has went straight back to the way he was down there...aka a knob head!....good player but we dont need a player dragging our name through the mud so he can do one as there is nandos all over the country

I know what you mean, but Sammy has the pace and skill to hurt teams. Yes, he runs down blind alleys a lot, but he's still young, and he'll develop a footballing brain throughout his career.

Hopefully he'll fulfil his potential and not have his career ruined by playing through injuries like his bro.

I don't care if he finds himself another club or not, release him!

Its not as if Man Utd are gunna snap him up and he is going to turn out to be a £50m striker.

    Championship at best

I think he has a yearning to go back to London. Maybe the O's (his original team) Crystal Palace, Millwall or West Ham would be able to use him.

Can't see the O's or Crystal Palace and Millwall being able to meet his expected salary and West Ham probably feel they don't need him never mind want him. Could be stuck with him for a while.

As long as he's off our hands and off our payroll, I don't think too many people will care who he goes to.

I think we've all lost patience with Ranger now, and no matter how angry we feel it's still a terrible shame. I know he's engineered his own downfall but it's quite ridiculous that he seems unaware of the harm he's done to himself.
He's been making a fair amount of money, enough to allow him to behave the way he has, but he's a fool to think it wont all come to an end eventually.

Pisses you off to think that he probably earns about £4,000 p/w for doing **** all. The rest of us do the 9-5 all year and don't get even half that in a month.

He's doing more harm to himself than to us, it's his life and carreer. We'll still be here long after he's gone.

He's a silly boy that needs to grow up.

I think he needs to go, I remember feeling the same about Carroll when he had to live with Kevin Nolan, he seemed to be going down the same road.

If he starts moving down through the leagues he won't be getting paid anywhere near what he gets here and could start running around with his old mates again.

We really need to get this sorted, the way i see it we have 3 options:

    1) he cleans up his act, and starts to produce to end product he should be doing.

    2) loan him out and see if we can spark the ability he has (could we find a club abroad to take him, didn't Les Ferdinand credit his time in Turkey on loan, as the point he realised he needed to grow up).

    3) bin him.

Number 2 would actually be really good, he needs to get far far away from his current life. Send him to the Belgian League or somewhere.
