I get why they'd pick Utd. its about viewing figures for them. but if its about viewing figures, why 8pm. why ITV4? only logical explanation is ITV didnt get to choose the time, and international broadcasters got a say. The FA Cup final is now played at 5.30pm isn't it - so that it can be watched in the US. Might be why they have an 8pm Saturday kick off rather than a 12.30 Saturday kick off. which is ****ing mental.
Capacity is 5926 with away support capped at 1900 during riverside development according to this: https://www.fulhamfc.com/more/frequently-asked-questions/craven-cottage/ The new Riverside stand is not finished yet but they are using the lower tier and will not be fully open until 23/24 season. Got my ticket, looking forward to this more than Millwall the following week! Slightly nicer and friendlier pubs, usually.
Loved a trip to Fulham back in the day, some brilliant memories and not so good memories. I think my days with following Sunderland away from home are over now
Yes they've all gone. Fantastic seeing as though we've sold out Millwall as well. Just waiting QPR to go on sale now.
Half Moon & Bricklayers in Putney, also the Dukes Head by the river further along the lower Richmond Rd towards Barnes is the Spencer, on the edge of the common. If weather is decent there’s loads of space to spill out /picnic benches. You can pub crawl to the ground via the above pubs from there, if you’re starting early. If you want cheap & cheerful, there is a Spoons other side of Putney high street by the river (The Rocket). No specific knowledge of pubs on the Fulham side, on a match day, the Golden Lion looks alright
