Awful from Slater and Docherty their goal... and tad unlucky the deflection put the lad onside... and to Rosie, the Connolly chance, the ball didnt run away from him
Cash in on Tufan and use the money elsewhere it’s a waste of time having a well paid player who’s worth a few quid sat on the bench.
Doc tries hard good energy but he is not good enough at this level. Slater is painfully overrated by the City faithful
Off the Blunts board.. “Still outplaying us with 10 men” “They outplayed us second half“ Excellent 3 points against a much improved Hull side” “Hull will take some points off our rivals on that display” “ Hull- looked impressive and fought well- a couple of,players short of a play off team for me”. Ect ect.. Work in progress takes time. End of chat… Allam’s GONE.
It’s coming to something when Sheffield United fans speak more sense about our performance than our own fans. Against one of the two teams running away with this league, at their place, we gave them a real game. And but for Tetteh’s stupidity, I think we come away with a point, they were seriously rattled and you could feel a goal coming. Slater’s the new Meyler.
Am I the only one who thinks that there was a hand ball in the build-up to the goal? I've not seen it mentioned anywhere.
People seem to think that unless you 'notice' a player, they must be having a bad game. Slater does the unfashionable stuff well. There's a reason he's in the side over more fancied players.
Maybe I was watching a different game then? All only 5's & 6's bar Ingram and Connolly. I thought we were far better than that shows? https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...newsletter2&utm_medium=email#comments-wrapper
I thought we had no end product and they never really looked threatened. No amount of gushing faint praise from their fans is going to change my mind
Difficult to see from low down at the other end of the pitch but I'd have put it down as a half chance. Angle looked tight and the keeper came out well. And that was about it. Not much to get excited about second half despite all the possession
Equally a lot thought we was awful and didn’t threaten them. We was okay for the most part just the limited players stick the gaff out when it comes to breaking sides down.
Just came on to post this. The comments after it are broadly fair too. Some thought we were brilliant, and some that we were dominant second half, but with no cutting edge. Sometimes you just don’t see it yourself I guess.
Great performance. i think we are improving every week under rosenior. The palace lad will help us with our creativity. Just hope we can start firing at home and we will be top half in no time. I think the playoffs might just have slipped away but you never know.
At this stage in my mind it's about improving performances second half, getting good form out of our key players, and finishing the season as high as we can.
Rosenior said in his aftermatch interview that he can wait until quality players come along to improve us. We are in a much better place than we were. Add 3 quality players to this squad and get our injured players back up to speed and i think we can challenge next season
Agree completely. It's amazing how many are moaning about the team when this is the most excited about City I've been in years. We are improving rapidly and when all the pieces fall into place we'll be terrific.
