    Probably as a loan with an option to buy could be possible, unlike Jackson.

    I wanted him to join when he was linked in the summer. Admittedly transfermarkt lead me to believe his contract was up at the end of the season and potential value was to be had. That said I’m not sure we would have been in the running if he had been on a Bosman

    Very unsure about this one as:

    1. The club must have some doubts if they wanted a 6 month loan with an option to buy.
    2. He isn't a striker and at £17m, I think this will rule out the possibility of bringing a top striker in this month.

    He is obviously rated as a number of clubs have tracked him, as with all transfers, only time will tell!

    Unless ofcourse the structure of the deal is to be paid over a number of years and bonus related. It could be cost effective.

    Right footed and operates on both flanks
    Very quick and powerful runner from what we saw at St Mary’s - not much end product from his career stats, but we shall see
