Conversely, Cardiff are the lowest goal scorers in the championship and their reserves have just put four past us in two games. We can’t keep scoring 3,4,5 goals every game just to be sure of the win.

An embarrassment of riches for us from the defence forward, we've got the players to be a real threat.
Kristenson's best game so far and Wober looked very steady, hope it's just a knock.
Need a LB and a good CB.

Well if Jesse couldn’t spot that talent in Gnonto, a full Italian international, and had no plans to play him in the first team, he must be the Stevie Wonder of first team coaches.

Positives - Willy Gnonto, Willy Gnonto (repeat ad infinitum), scored five goals, Rodrigo looks the player we hoped for, Bamford back and scoring, Sinisterra back.

Negatives - defence is very shaky and giving Cardiff three goals was piss poor even if one was disallowed.

Outlook - take this confidence boost forward to Sunday and get 3 points.

I'm delighted with the win. Yes I appreciate we were playing a **** team, but we scored 5 and it was an FA cup. Watched it with 2 of my lads who were hungover from celebrating my DADS funeral. 95 he was, he just ran out of breath.<ok>

You mean his call up to the first team squad went something like this. :

Jesse - hi Willy I just called to say I'll play you;)

Or maybe that’ll be vic then who was leaving him until the Jan window/next summer until our other signing’s fell through… or all the other DOFs and managers of other clubs must be blind too if they didn’t want to pay 3.5m for him. Or his Zurich team who only ever played him as a second half sub.

Maybe, just maybe, we got him settled, integrated him into the squad saw how he played, realised he was stepping up and then played him.

Glass half full for me, we just need to destroy a prem team like we did against Cardiff. Yes a couple of mistakes at the back but game over at half time. Rodrigo was on fire and pressing the defence and keeper with pace, looked angry and at it. Scored a great goal again for his 12th of the season and got a great assist for Gnonto’s first. Willy what a baller, Harrison had another great game in place of Aaronson and hope he keeps his place. Roca and Adams were very good, but at half time with the game won we lost urgency with both Adams and Rodrigo off. Great to see paddy score a bracebut he wasn’t doing what he used to do but he needs a lot of minutes to get back to that after being out for so long. Great to see Sinisterra back too and shouldn’t be too long before he’s starting. Wober looks like the missing link in defence so hope he’s fit to kick Tony’s ass at the weekend. Ignoring the 2nd half defending, but this was a very good performance and result and should be something to finally build upon.

Max knew straight away his game was finished, the physio tried to get him to play on but one more clearance and he was holding his groin again.

Apparently after the game he told Jesse he doesn’t believe his injury is too bad
