Surprisingly yes... About once a year we will get snow... Usually between one and three inches. Usually late Feb/early March time is when it's most likely... And the funny thing is, that's when it usually starts getting warm here again. It usually all melts within 48hrs though. A week after the heaviest snowfall and you'd have no clue. We have an amazing hill on our back yard that I've cleared a nice wide trail down through the trees. About 15degree angle and 150'+ long before it flattens out. (I know the angle because I measured it before getting the lawn tractor to make sure I can mow it safely)... Perfect hill for sledding down. We went when the house was under construction last year... The path was narrower then though so not as good for sledding. Now it's nice and smooth, removed the tree stumps, etc.
So there's still time for it to snow then. As an alternative, maybe you could run a hosepipe down the hill and go water sledding.
From what I can remember of them, they all smelled of weed or had a funny little man trying to spray you with cologne on the way out.
An employee? Or weird little men just hung out in bathrooms spraying people? I was in the US about when I was old enough to really be nightclubbing age... Smoking in nightclubs was still allowed in those days.in the US (took longer to ban smoking inside public places here). The air was always really thick with cigarette smoke. I only went a couple of times, couldn't stand how my hair smelled like cigarette smoke for a couple days after going to one, no matter how hard I tried to wash the smell out. It really put me off ever going to them, even when they stopped indoor smoking.
We had about 2hrs of snow yesterday. Pathetic snow that shows zero sign of settling but snow all the same.
I don't think the were directly employed. The idea was they would offer you products to use, ie freshen up if you were on the pull, and you would tip them a couple of quid. I assume the club got a % of his takings to allow him to be in there.
Hate to be happy for United... but he's the kind of owner I wish would appear for us. A fan with the actual funds to own the club. Not some foreign consortium or oil baron.
Horrible article about a John Yems ex Crawley manager. On sky list all the things he said… how the **** they managed to argue that he wasn’t racist and didn’t intend to make racist comments is unbelievable.
