Exactly. He is simply being professional in his job and separating it from his personal life, nothing unique in that. On a thread just recently there were comments how Shearer is relatively unbiased in his professional opinion about us and saves any rivalry for a side comment (if Lineker et al don’t get there first).

He was then asked "if a role like a non executive came along at Sunderland, would you be interested"? "I'd do it for free". 4 years later he's doing that job.
