Manhunter was just short of brilliant IMHO ... largely because they ****ed about with the ending (the book Red Dragon is a fantastic read - better than SotL - again IMHO) ... the soundtrack is terrific ... Michael Mann standard ... e.g. Last of the Mohicans is another of his ...

... and talking of serial killers, we watched Aileen Wournos: American Boogeywoman on Netflix last night ... bit fanciful (poetic licence) ... but very watchable ...

I thought the serial killer in Manhunter was brilliant. Tense af everytime he was on screen, right to the end. I thought he made the film tbh.

It's very much of It's time. Mann went all 80s on it. Mind you I thought it was excellent the first time I saw it and really couldn't understand why it was getting panned.

Totally agree about Red Dragon, it's a terrific book. Much better than SOTL. The Movie with Hopkins and Norton would have stank the place out if it wasn't for Fiennes saving it with a great performance.

Manhunter is a much better version.

Again of all the Will Graham's there has been I think Hugh Dancy's portrayal in the Hannibal series is the best.

    She Said 6.9/10

The story of New York Times investigation which led to the whole Harvey Weinstein scandal.

Nowhere near as good as Spotlight, or even as well made as Bombshell, but still an interesting watch.
