Tbh, none of our opinions count for anything. We're only here to let off steam, and we all do it in our own way.
Kissed it goodbye weeks ago and despite objections to the contrary from certain parties here I was right to. Klopp finally came out and admitted it's his responsibility today. Question is, what will he do about it and is it now too late for this season?
Wrong thread! Think you need to post in this one.... The thread for people who don't think the season's already over.
Not really, giving up on the team after 18 games, is the definition of plastic. Stamping of feet, Yaring that they arnt winning. **** me, think back to the mighty days that hodgson was in charge and tell me we are ****. Klopp out, don't make me ****ing laugh. Season over? Why, because where not going to be champions? Plastic entitled pricks
To find a buyer? Cause they aint going to change their approach to ownership. Anyone heard anything about that btw, seems to have gone very quiet since the manc were put up for sale.
Saw the comment about being a plastic before I logged in, I can't see it now, but let me address it. I've been a Liverpool fan since the age of 5. No one in my family did football, I was the youngest of four girls. I had no brothers who followed the game, it was just in my blood. Like many here, I've been through the good times and the bad times, and now we're in another bad time. Let me tell you that despite all the platitudes fed by so-called top reds with their Shankly meme: if you can't support us when we lose or draw, don't bother supporting us at all (paraphrase), it gets no bloody easier than the time before. Despite the other cups we won: the league, FA and CL - all absolutely wonderful - we had 30 years in the wilderness when we didn't win a title, then we won it, albeit in the pandemic season, but it was ours. We lost the ****ing thing last season by one point because bloody Villa bottled the lead they had over citeh. I felt violated and robbed, but we picked ourselves up to go for it again this season. Yeah. The regression has shocked not only the fans but the pundits as well. We were supposed to be back on our perch and we're back to being absolute ****e and no one really knows why. People have begged for signings. Well, we've made some fantastic ones: Jota, Diaz, both soddin well injured. Keita can't stand up for two minutes together. VVD hobbling around like See-Threepio yet again. I could go on. So we get these midfielders we're desperate for; who's to say they won't get injured as well? And when they do, we have no choice but to play what we have, a crummy side who don't put in a shift then have the brass neck to stand there looking gutted when they get beaten. I don't buy the they're tired after last season ****e, either. This is a side who can't give a ****. End of bloody rant.
One can feel despondent without being a plastic. The performance yesterday was one of the worse ever put in by this club. Brighton played like they were Real Madrid and we played like a league 1 team with no heart no passion no plan. This really feels like the end of an era. The end of a very good period under a brilliant leader. As I said in a different post it really feels the whole team needs rebuilding rather than addding to. Do we bring in yet another expensive striker? Or a midfielder? Does Gakpo even change the prospects of this current team? What do Thiago and Fabinho contribute in our current system? Hasn’t Henderson gone way past his peak? What is elderly Milner doing even being part of the squad? Yes, heresy to say it. The dressing room may be needs a different voice and a different system to Klopp. And he probably knows it himself.
If you don't feel pissed off atm there's something wrong with you IMO. I wonder whether Klopp feels it's over himself. If he walks, that puts us in a **** position; if he gets the sack, likewise. Either outcome is of no benefit to us because we'll end up back at square one in a transition phase again, which could take years to resolve. When was the last time a manager resigned unless it was to go to another job, though? It doesn't happen, does it?
