DCC played brilliantly today. Bless that guy for having to operate with Lyanco and Salisu either side of him. Poor fella I like in particular how - when he doubt - he just puts it out for a throw to the opposition. Too many of our players (I don't know if it was a Ralph thing) will try to be too clever, and keep the ball in play, and more often than not end up gifting possession back to the oppo anyway. Bazunu solid again today. We still need to get a DM in. Diallo not quite good enough, and we can't afford to rely on Lavia.
Got to hold my hand up on that one I was one to call for dropping him. Proves what I know about football.
He lost his way a bit with Ralph, not his fault of course, he was asked to play a particular role that wasn't to his strengths, too much on his not so young shoulders(can't believe he is now 28!). But since NJ has come in, he is reborn, he's on fire with his goals and now his performances are really clicking up a few years! As already mentioned, his engine is immense, never misses any minutes except for when he was suspended. I questioned his captaincy this season and wondered if he would be better without that role but I think he is perfect, Jones has done wonders in my opinion, I know there are still doubters and I get that but nobody can deny that we have improved in every game since the Liverpool game! Time for me to visit my Positivity thread!
Thanks, wondered what to watch this evening, nothing much else on! JWP is a changed man, two great goals.
NIce to think that I was doing the same celebration about 3 ½ minutes later, even though I knew it was going in thanks to my friends from the future.
Close but no cigar. I got good value for a quid bet, though. Then again I'll always have this, immediately after Everton scored. It's not the money (obviously), it's the fun. As I've said a dozen times or more on here, this team has more backbone that many of its fans, it's not over till the fat lady sings, we're still in this, etc, etc. Vin
