I know, I’m talking the piss. I was quite vocal about wanting a new poll, so now I’m talking the opposite view.
NEXT POLL: Should fans sing, "Your football's NOT sh*t, your football's NOT sh*t, Nathan Jones..." Or should we continue to sing (but ironically ), "Your football IS sh*t, your football IS sh*t, Nathan Jones..."
Jones out gives plenty of opportunity to vent your feelings. Can you not at least give a few days grace after a great result!
In that case I abstain. Last night has really changed things for me. There's no option there I can pick right now.
Yeah but we weren't allowed a poll on that thread for some reason. As for 'vent my feelings' I think you've misunderstood, I don't want him gone!
I think after last night he has earnt the right to stay until the next round of cup games at least, which means he will have all of the Jan window. That means we should probably stick to the end of the season. I don't like him though. (still) Last night has probably increased are chance of survival in the Prem from 15% to 20%.
This is why l don’t post much. Comments are so easy to cause misunderstandings. Should have written ‘people can vent their feelings’ not you.
I literally have no idea now. It’s so hard to understand how we can go from the Forest game to smashing City. Suffice to say if we can play like we did last night for the rest of the season, he obviously has to say and Ankersen/SR have pulled a blinder.
I want to eat humble pie, I really, really, really do. Just maybe a bit early IMO. The pie though has been prepared and is in the kitchen. Maybe after Everton I'll preheat the oven.
Well my "gut feeling" after the Forest defeat may have been wind instead!... What a turnaround in performance in just two matches and one thing abundantly clear is he has all of the players working their socks off for him and you can go a long way with the kind of team spirit witnessed last night. The Luton fans worshipped him and he created a kind of Fergie siege mentality there and if he can build the same here then he will get our fans onside quickly too especially if we win only the second major trophy in our history! I think that the last two results has taken the immediate pressure off and I hope that the fans at the matches get behind him and the team because negative chants don't help the cause.
So almost 24 hours later and with no game until after the poll closes, the majority want NJ to see out the season. I'm glad I'm not in the minority anymore, we now know what is possible so hopefully a bad result will not change anything and the fans can get behind the manager and the team, positivity is catching so no point booing and chanting negative things
I’m on probably after the last two, but if we lose to Everton it’ll be the loss of 5 ‘winnable’ PL matches in a row and it will be back to being difficult. Let’s see.
