Really sad to hear about the passing of Jeff Beck, one of my all-time favourite guitarists. RIP Jeff.

And goes on to things like this. A wider range than others for sure. Pavarotti was rhat impressed by Nessus Dorma he asked Beck to play on a CD he was working on.

Unlike a lot of rock stars who thought it uncool to do so was happy to acknowledge what an influence Hank Marvin of the Shadows had been.

How many would have thought of attempting to cover this, especially live?

That's an awful way to go,but I'm of the belief that dogs wouldn't do that if they were brought up/trained properly.

Show them love and they'll give you love straight back.

My old family dog was so protective of my nieces when they were little.

All the same, it's a horrible way to go.

Tend to be in the camp that believes that generally speaking there is no such thing as a bad dog, just bad owners.

Really sad to hear about Jeff Beck. I love his album from 2016 called Loud Hailer. It’s completely out there and more along the lines of Nine Inch Nails than bluesy rock in places. Amazing musician.

Inbreeding causes dogs to go off the rails, especially the terrier types

RIP, Mary, or Nannie as she was known by her family and friends. She was just a next door neighbour, but we all became really close friends.

I couldn't make it to her funeral today, in Bristol, but would have loved to have gone.

I've just watched a live stream of her funeral and I've got admit, there were tears on my cheeks, lots of them.

Anyway, RIP RITA MARY SIMS (NANNIE) x

I’ve had dogs all my life, at one point I had five, a German Shepherd, three Dobermans and a Cocker Spaniel. All of my dogs were treated the same, I loved them all, however, to disprove the point that there are no bad dogs, one of my Dobermans, a brown girl and the sister of one of my other Dobes, was a born killer. It almost killed me but, after looking into every alternative option, at three years old, after she’d bitten two people and attacked two of my other dogs, I had no other choice than to have her euthanised. I’d always wanted a brown Dobe and I really loved this one, I’d called her Amber, so I was a total mess on her last fateful day at the vets.

edit. Just to say that in some ways dogs are much like people, you get good and bad. Nurture v nature.
