Where is the money for new players going to come from? Let's see what Wagner can do with what we have first. Pie in the sky quickly turns into pigs flying by, IMO.
Well said. He had a decent showing for a few months when he was carried by Buendia but apart from that he has had chances to prove himself here and away on loan and has always failed. If Webber can get anything for him it will be a job well done. I also cannot see how we are going to get big money for Aarons. His recent form has not been brilliant and he seems to be either a wingback who is a poor crosser of the ball or a fullback who is a dodgy defender with no height or heading ability
Has anybody any idea about Cantwell and a move away to Rangers? All I seem to read is conflicting stories about which team he is destined for.
Hugill to Reading is being touted on Newsnow website. Seeing as he is out of contract this season, this seems to be one that will go the distance.
I don't see a scenario where Cantwell doesn't get sold this January. It makes no sense for us to hold onto him. So the only game in town seems to be attracting the best bid, but it does sound like there is plenty of interest in him.
Cantwell bid from Blackburn for £2m. If Rangers are interested, we could see a mark nearer £3-4m hopefully.
With absolutely no expertise or insight, somewhere around the £3m mark feels about right to me as a fair deal for all parties - with only six months to getting him on a free, him on a recent poor statistical performance but still with bags of potential and young.
I don’t get what’s happened with him this season, he looked really lively at the start of the season and was playing regularly but then he just dropped from the squads completely. I know he had an injury but he never seemed to make it back
Yeah I dunno either. But I guess if we’ve known we want to sell him, why bother playing him when we could keep plenty of others up to speed? He’s not Kevin de Bruyne, so it’s not like he’s so much better than anyone else that you’d want him on the pitch even if his contract had a day left, he had only one functioning leg and he was refusing to train
I’d play him over every single one of our wide options - Hernandez, Dowell, Sinani, Placheta - he’s better than all of them by a distance
Former Norwich City midfielder Tom Trybull has signed for the Canaries' Championship rivals Blackpool on an 18-month contract. The Seasiders have an option to extend the deal by a further year, as Trybull arrives from German second tier side SV Sandhausen.
