Think Klopp has a point that an ageing, injury-prone squad just wasn't suited to playing every game possible last season: think Klopp and FSG should be pointing the finger at themselves as to how we ended up with an ageing, injury-prone squad just two to three years after the squad was acclaimed to be the best in Europe.
I remember us having conversations three years ago saying how all our best players are all going to age out of first team at same time and we needed to start making changes. If we all saw it, why didn't the powers that be at Liverpool? We've known this was coming for literally years.
Cos we make do. We've always made do. We actually went mad and played all 4 comps seriously once and they all burned out.
Also Klopp seemed to have his favourites ( or showing some sort of misplaced loyalty) and kept playing them when they needed to be sidelined.
Just a reminder before I retire to bed that we're equidistant between the top and the bottom places in the league, 16 points away from either. In all honesty, to which place are we more suited in terms of form this season? I think I know which one I believe we're closer to, and it's not Arsenal. Goodnight all.
The team got halfway up the stairs last night and fell down them. Chuffed for Nunez scoring, Gakpo good debut, but the screamers in defence I know my opinion on this forum counts for squat, but we're broken and we're not being fixed
