I use QR codes frequently every week e.g trains etc, the technology is pretty much tried and tested. The only issues could be poor scanners at City or broken / cracked phone screens causing problems.
I am another one that did not understand why La Tula did not start. If Ingram gets injured then at the moment he would be the number one choice so it seems to make sense that he needed a run out just case Ingram does get injured.
apparently there was some pretty universal issues with phones and printed tickets today. I saw the queue at 2:30 when going into the disabled entrance and had no issue with printed tickets but most of the grumbles I heard from people around me was print offs and phones
Feel like today was just a Prem side nullifying our strengths and eeking out a result a bit. They were happy to let us play until the half way line most of the game and dared us to beat them in the final third. Genuinely think we need a more creative outlet in the middle of the park and further up the pitch. May be a case of the drop off from Seri is that harsh but felt like our gameplan was to cause an overload on the LW which Fulham quickly sorted out and we didn't adjust. We would have had space in the middle but no had real way to exploit I felt Positive is that the performance was largely really organised and I dont think they had many great chances. Tetteh had glimpses of what we saw early in the season and I suspect he's going to get a run now with Allayhar being out for 4-6 weeks allegedly. Thought Simons looked solid in the middle and I would like to see more of Vale. Vale's early chance goes in and its probably a different cup tie but just wasn't to be. They carry on like that they're going to win games at home though
I work with these scanners as the day job. They're the most temperamental thing if the conditions aren't perfect. Brightness being low or wrong sized barcodes will set them wrong sometimes. Club should look at adding tickets to an app or the season tickets and it wouldn't have been as big an issue today
Two of us with tickets posted from the club didn't have a problem but our pal with a qr code had problems. It turned out that the code had to be orientated in specific way to work (apparently upside down in his case).
Almost as infuriating as when we get a throw in deep in the opponents half and decide to throw it backwards when Elder has a decent long throw in him! When he eventually did throw it long (at the 3rd time of asking) it created a decent chance.
Thanks. Expecting problems as the code came to my tablet by email and I have had to use my camera on my phone to put them on there.
Yes he did touch the ball, but Rosenior in his post match interview with Radio Humberside said that Connolly isn't fully match fit. He last played for Venezia in September for the Serie B team which explains a great deal.
We looked like a team that was largely lacking match fitness/sharpness up front. Especially the Vale miss early
Felt today was as much a run out for fitness for some, to see who fits going forward for others & who to let go Scanners wise - the tickets said don't resize, though stewardess saying you might need to and turn round about 3 times until it works, barcode infront had no problems, some printed ones... Onwards and somewhere else. Nice sky at one point
I know he’s only young and not played much but I wasn’t impressed, I thought Tetteh looked very good when he came on though plus with his height it must give our keeper the option of getting it forward quicker with the long ball. Hopefully with him back the three big lads from the back and Oscar it might make us a bit more dangerous from corners.
Did you see the game? He looked keen but rusty, got into some decent positions, had a header on target albeit from an offside position. He's been here 5 minutes, give the bloke a chance!
