Beautifully scripted for Hollywood though. Suspect he didn't need much encouragement to spice it up to sell more copies and keep the money pumping in. It's a bit like a musical virtuoso shacking up with Kylie Minogue and then churning out Stock Aitken Waterman commercial pap.
I find it bizarre that he decided to keep count, and even more bizarre that he would then publish the figures. Many ex-forces guys write books, Andy McNab, Chris Ryan, Ant Middleton etc, but they didn't keep a rolling count of how many enemies they've killed. It's distasteful to say the least, and not something anyone that I know or knew would crow about. More worried about such a "great warrior" being a cry baby about his necklace - what a fanny. I'm beyond giving a **** about the whole thing, ginger ****
Somebody explained today that there would have been a video recording any time the helicopters engaged the enemy which the crew would have to watch back afterwards and this is how he would have known how many he had killed. I don't believe he was crowing about it, quite the opposite.
The whole Harry issue is utterly distasteful and shows a lack of respect to his country and family. It is shabby and classless in the extreme.
Maybe he's a cretin? Maybe he's a war hero? Maybe everyone truly loves him? Maybe everyone hates him? Maybe some of us just don't care.... I'm oota this one
Thats actually very good and I would think that’s the first thing that many soldiers get asked when they meet someone new for the first time (Steels might agree/disagree) For us its often…….”Whats the worst thing you’ve seen” ?
After today it’s no more cake for a while….getting fat and bored isn’t doing my MH any good so entering the “Grim Challenge” in December to motivate me into fitness again. So it’s pizza and chocolate tonight and protein and lettuce from tomorrow…can’t wait
