    Pretty strong logic. You need to spend good money to get quality players.

    He wants players who will fit in and not be disruptive. Good.

    True. Milner, Given, Carroll. He's simply stating a fact.

    "We&#8217;ve got some good players and if we can add more to that in the summer then we&#8217;ve got the basis, a spine of a top side that is capable of challenging for Europe."

    He's praised his teammates and said that with a few more players we can challenge properly for Europe. Most fans would agree with this and again, considering our current position it's just common sense.

    "This squad wants to keep pushing on but we need to compete on all fronts. It&#8217;s up to the men upstairs to make sure we amass a squad and get the bodies to do that."

    He'd like to see some new players in so we can give a good show in the cups. Can't argue with that, we've shown our squad is quite thin.
