With the expected weakened team and a splattering of kids, Shrewsbury will scent a scalp.

    3-1 I’m afraid.

Well this is one game we can all relax watching, a win would be nice but a loss not a disaster.
Give it a right go, that's all most fans ask, safe journey for those travelling.

RTB's team looks spot on, fringe/youth players with enough experience to hold it all together. O'Nien could do with a decent rest after playing the last game while still suffering with a virus.

Only got 42 years but she learnt at a young age - when we first started seeing each other in 1977 I was at Loughborough Uni and would only come home on a Friday when we were at home and to spend time with me she had to go to games. I would then be picked up by the bus on the roundabout off the M1 for the away matches. She knew the rules from then that I was never going to change <laugh>

Cracking thread as usual. I'm also liking the look of that line up. I'd 100% start with that midfield 3 and give Jewi and Dejaku some game time as well. Johnson not being in the u21 squad today suggests that he's playing, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if he starts.

This is a free hit for me. I'd like a cup run, but I'd rather play the youngsters this week and just leave it up to chance.

thanks for another smashing thread RTB, and you can squeeze the magic out before, due to the amount of young lads who haven't played together as a team im expecting feast or famine a 1-0 would be good a 5 nil ecstatic looking forward to a bit of progression

Get some players some minutes. I am more fussed about getting past it without any injuries to be honest.

Squad depth will he crucial to how the rest of our league campaign goes.

I would rest O/9 for his own good, and we need him ready to go in the next game which is sadly far more important , RTB, that team will do me, and once again thanks for your efforts , this match day thread is what this site is about football, or at least should be OaU.
