I'm currently watching Kaleidescope, which is Netflix's eight part drama that you can watch in any order. I'm not sure if it's just a gimmick and I don't really see the point, but it's just one story that's split into eight parts with each episode given a colour, rather than a number.

It stars Giancarlo Esposito (who was Gustavo Fring in Better Call Saul) as the mastermind behind a $7b robbery.

I'm about half way through and it's been fairly watchable so far, though Esposito is not quite as good as he was in Better Call Saul and there's a really annoying Australian who's really getting on my nerves.

I've literally just ended the first episode although it wasn't the first on the list. Is it worth carrying on with?
The annoying Aussie was in the Suicide Squad, he was annoying in that too.

I think it's been decent enough for me to carry on to the end, but as you can watch it in any order, I don't know if you've watched one of the better episodes or not. <laugh>

As far as I can remember, that's the diamond robbery one, where I hoped the Australian would get shot in the face. <laugh>

That being the case, it's fairly typical of what the rest of it's like.

I finished it this morning, it's worth watching to the end, but it's not brilliant. The twist is very obvious before it's revealed and the watching in any order thing is utterly pointless, if anything it gets in the way (if you'd like to watch the last episode last, it's the pink episode).

Thanks mate, I tried to watch the first one in the list but it took me to the third, so it looks like you can only go forward.

Anyone thinking of watching kaleidoscope this is the running order from first to last. I’m up to
Orange m, my own opinion of the quality of this series is I think it’s not as good as the hype, completely no ****ing idea why you need to choose each episode as it makes no sense watching them out of sinc. I think they have introduced this to cover up the fact it’s a bit ****.
Anyway don’t take my word for it see fit yourself.
I will add though if the Australian gets shot in the face before the end I will be very happy, he’s a complete prick and an absolute arsehole. Enjoy 30C1A01F-8CF9-4E0B-A9ED-A2D394E05AB2.jpeg

Film tip, The Jesus Rolls on Film4, spin off from The Big Lebowski, 3 great actors in it, Turturro, Cannavale and Walken.
