So we kept a clean sheet and won, if we had gone down 1-0 to Blackpool would we have brought another keeper in on loan or continued with Rachbuka? I dare say we would have continued with Rachbuka the 5-0 forced Graysons hand.

Maybe too early to say but I am wondering if the 5-0 drubbing was a blessing in disguise?

    Good point.

Sometimes it takes a disaster to focus people's minds.

Best to suffer a defeat like that early on in the season...two years ago, Norwich lost the opening game 0-7 and look what happened.

    Grayson? <doh>

Yeah, it was him that spilt three easy balls, wasn't it?

That drubbing was the kick up the arse we needed and I said after the game - to much derision from some - that this would be Grayson's key to get the team back in full working order. Today we saw that. More of the same going into December and beyond please Leeds!

Morning Ristac. I mentioned something similar last week. Yes I think it was a blessing in disguise. It represented a low water mark forcing SG's hand. Will be interesting to see now if we try to hang on to McCarthy past his loan period. He's a hell of a unit. Might just solve problems in dealing with crosses that have bedevelled us in the last couple of years. Back 4 looked very solid yesterday. AOB put in a very good shift. Good to see after the disaster of the first game where apparently he just wasn't fit enough.

Heyho, makes for an intersting selection dilema for the next match. AOB or Lees?

Lees is guaranteed, its whether we have kisnorbo or AOB. But it will be kisnorbo

After yesterday Josh, not sure Lees is guaranteed. That said, I'd rather see Kisnorbo & AOB swapping after an hour rather than Lees not starting. He is our longterm future & he just needs more experienced heads to guide him.
