Wasn't able to watch the game but following it on here and BBC felt as though I got two games for the price of one. On here all the players were a disgrace and shambles. On the BBC all the players fought tooth and nail for a hard earned point. Given we ended up with a point away to the runaway leaders who'd not dropped a point at home this season I think I can guess which site the bed wetters were on tonight.
12 clean sheets this season (10 league and 2 cup). That's just immense from where we were this time last season.
Nearly as bad as klopp…pleased Howe gave him some back. Can’t wait till them ****s come to our place like! The old big 6 cartel are ****ing rattled and it’s a sight to behold!
Away to Leicester and Arsenal, home to Leeds, thought we'd lose at least one of those, tremendous stuff from all concerned.
Honestly even Howe was saying after the match we weren’t great. We were far too sloppy and it was the defensive structure and understanding across the team that got the point. Lot of fight and determination but some really mystifyingly bad passing everywhere really. Once wood and Murphy came on 0-0 was the best we could hope for, the pair were utterly awful. Bruno was off colour, Longstaff often a bystander. Joelinton, Trippier, Botman and Willock best players. Schar and Burn hot and cold. Almiron and Wilson just a bit weak. It’s a great point no doubt. Was just weird to see us struggle to do simple things well.
It's pissed me off a bit this season that so many opposition fans have put our results down to them having a bad day rather than us playing well. Tonight we were up against the current best team in the land. It's part of their job to stop us doing the simple things well, and they are probably better equipped to do that than any other team at the moment. We also managed to stop them doing a lot of what they have been doing well and the team deserves a lot of credit for that.
No, I was ****ed off on Sat but over the ****ing moon tonight. I probably feel how Leeds fans felt on Sat.
