Yeah, but on current form, it doesn't look hopeful. Every match now I expect a loss, I just don't feel confident

That's fine but as night follows day form improves.

Look at that **** show 2 seasons ago and 10 out of 11 wins or whatever to get 4th then win 2 cups and reach cl final the season after.

We are boned..ah well. Let's see what changes between now and when the season restarts.

I am pessimistic, always have been but anyone calling for Klopp to leave right now is way off the mark imho.

i understand there is a balance between realising when a manager is spent and when they still are productive. Klopp builds teams over a few seasons, he always has done.

with the squad he built it would have been great had he won a few more pots but he still has given the fans everything he promised, i knew this season was going to be tricky

however imho, if any manager has earned the right to have on off season its Klopp. I am certain he and his team know whats wrong and i am certain they will be doing their best to solve it. They will be looking for the players that fit the system, it wont be bellingham so some may be annoyed.

no drama yet, will be interesting to see how our players perform after the world cup.

Glad you know what our system is because these days it doesn't look like we have one to me.
Maybe we build our system around the capabilities of our players, rather than being short of decent players due to waiting for the right one?
If the high line system is what we're using it can't be done with ageing / lazy/crap/ players.

    Our system is "in lfux"

aka klopp doesn't know what to do as he now feels he's no left wing options.

I've not seen too many boneheads calling for klopp to go. if any tbh.....

I can't agree that any manager ever earens the right to be ****. thats not the right attitude. the right attitude is to work to get better, the mistakes ae aready baked in now and we can only work to resolve.

its pointless hammering on baout lack of this or that when theres no open transfer window.

What's really getting to me right now is that certain players seem to be more than able turn up for city or the CL and play with a level of aggression and intensity but turn round and don't bother thier arse v forest or leeds.

With the greatest of respect i totally disagree that you disagree
But we are all entitled to our opinions

saying its not the right attitude feels a little short sighted to me
Its not earning the right to be ****
Its earning the right to be given time to put things right.

we are not a club that can or will buy players to stockpile and keep in case of an emergency
I personally think a few things have happened that they were not expecting and they will be doing their best to rectify the issues.

i have heard quite a few boneheads calling for him to be sacked and the ex spurs manager was on sky claiming he will resign at the end of this season !

do agree with your comment on intensity
However due to our age it may just be that we are picking and choosing the games to be up for, could be loads of other things too

we might or might not be able to stickpile but thats not what its about. Its aboutbuilding.

klopp was more than able build up a side but he's also let some parts go to far now.

of our 8 cms: 2 kids. ok whatever, 2 crocks (should not be here at all) 2 OAP (should only be one left) and then Fabinho and thaigo who've seriously regressed i nrunning.

so 2 developing - no issue
2 we shoudl all agree should have gone 2 years ago. keita and ox.
then henderson and milner hwo were both rewaded and really theres only room for 1 OAP coming on seeing out games etc.
And th two big men who are letting us down and cant run any more.

If we hav a drop off like we have in fabinho and thaigo... well no big deal lets put in... oh wait ox and keita are hanging round like bad smells. thats really the crux of this matter. there shoudl be a paid of 24/25 year olds who've pushed Henderson out.

we have in effect stockpiled ****.

Wouldn’t disagree with any of that but I have mentioned before that I think Keita is the fly in the ointment here
I also think the mane Salah situation has a lot to do with whatever has happened
But I absolutely trust klopp to sort it
We will see next summer I think

We are all aware of our need for midfielders but we have issues scoring goals from open play, salah is off it hasnt been as prolific, nunez cant score to save his life he tries but at this level he has to take every chance, we need a new right back asap i would say even more so than a midfielder, every team targets trent and he is simply not a good defender need someone solid back there, would move trent into midfield, dont understand why klopp doesnt play carvalho why buy him if your not going to play him. This season is done we just need to hope by next season we have new owners who will finance a massive spend so we can compete
