Brentford are literally playing against Livpl + Ref + the ****s in the VAR box. No matter how much they try they can't keep 'em down
Shouldn't that second one have stood? If the defender plays it onto the attacker then surely it becomes a second phase of play and the attacker is then onside as the defender has played it to him.
That's how I saw it. I could understand the first tbf but the 2nd I still don't know why it was ruled out.
The only way I could see them disallowing it is because they have deemed that the defender didn't make a deliberate attempt to play the ball.
Rule 50.1 subsection dipper. If Liverpool are on the receiving end of a goal VAR can make rules up to suit.
You watching this? We're not turning it around and don't have a midfielder that can come on and dominate the middle of the park. I'm just concerned it could be a heavy loss.
