Smith - great goals, looks a proper striker at last Greaves - fabulous all game after a stellar performance against Birmingham too Christie - perhaps just shaded it. But Seri, Slater and McLoughlin also made a strong case. Great second win when they must have been leggy after Brum.
Another good team performance. Well done boys Come on City 1. Greaves- got the important first goal and was good in defence and attack . 2. Seri - Another good display in the middle with some nice passing . Unlucky to slip and give them a corner from which they scored . 3. Tyler Smith - Two poachers goals and his run behind there defence resulted in Oscar ( maybe ) scoring .
McLoughlin (Really like McLoughlin, yes he will make mistakes here and there but I think what he brings to the team will far out weigh that!) Greaves Slater Have to mention Smith also, great finishes and an excellent mentality and attitude during his time at the club!
Seri ( Again. Class. Head n shoulders) Christie (back on form. Surprised he was subbed ) Smith (can't believe I'm typing it, but 2 goals ) Funny old game. Embarrassingly on top first half yet only 1 up. Not the best in the 2nd half yet score 3).
Greaves, outstanding. He's better than Maguire. Alfie Jones McLoughlin. Pleased for Tyler Smith and Oscar could fart the ball into the net at the moment. You can only beat what's in front of you and City comprehensively beat Wigan today. Peter Swann tipping Rosenier as a future England manager on Humberside.
Greaves Smith Slater Jones and Mac looked very capable. Doc was industrious, Seri was class, Oscar is back in form. Christie had a good game again and Longman looked much more on the same wavelength as everyone else today. Allahyar in the first half gave us an outlet we've sorely missed. I think him coming off allowed them back into it until the subs sorted it all out. Two much needed wins with a lot of dominance, but don't want to get carried away as we have better competition coming up fast.
Greaves - Always a threat running out of dense. And key well-taken goal. Seri - Dominated the midfield again. What a player ! Smith - His goals were the icing on the cake. Should start upfront with Oscar.
Greaves McLaughlin Christie Allayar saw a lot of the ball in the first half by being out wide on the touch line but when he got it did not do a lot with it. Smith took his goals in classic striker style. There’s a player in there. christies interplay with others is a delight to watch and borders on being similar to Seris who always is a delight to watch including today. We were dominant in the first half but strangely did not really look like scoring after the the first goal. In the second half after we regained the lead somewhat against the run of play Wigan had to push for a goal and that left space for city and Smith to capitalize in fine style.
