What happens when you cost so much and not really performing. Become the target of the boo boys. I think Sarr has played well when the team does but doesn't pull a good display out of the bag even if the other players are struggling - unlike a couple of seaosns ago.
Something to do with it being unfair on teams who played today so basically we are being punished because the game had to be moved to tomorrow. Just our luck... Probably some minor technicality which wouldn't really hurt anyone but has to be followed.

Every team really needs those players who can drag up the level of their teammates’ performances. Troy was obviously one, and recently Joao has worked very hard to try and inspire the rest. Joao’s out for a while now, so who, if anybody, is going to stand up?
Yes that is what Sarr is supposed to do as he did the other season . No leaders in midfield to push everyone either which is where you miss a Cleverley .

We shall have to wait and see, but Benfica do have a number of other options at right back. Adam Leventhal mentioned in his article that Juventus and Lille have tried unsuccessfully to sign him in the past. He has appeared only 5 times (once in the Primeira Liga and 4 times in various cups) for Benfica's first team, but 16 times on loan at Vitória de Guimarães (season 2021-22) and 12 times on loan at Rio Ave during the past half-season. Rio Ave were quoted a purchase fee of 5 million Euros if they wished to sign him at the end of their loan period, but they would struggle to find so much money and various sources (including the Athletic) have reported that Watford are paying approximately £2 million. Benfica are ending the loan early and sending another player to Rio Ave. João Ferreira is 21 years old and has played at every level for Portugal from U-15 to U-19 level. (a total of 28 caps). Leventhal states that João Ferreira can play at left back too (which I have also read elsewhere). Benfica supporters believe that this is a Helena Costa signing because she worked there with the youth teams in the past and still has strong links with the club.
