Everton will be relegated into the Championship whilst we will be promoted to the Premiership. So fcuk em'.
If that's true I don't see how recalling Simms forces our hand if anything it stops us selling to them. If we can lose Simms but keep Stewart it's a no brainer. I imagine Simms will be upset if he is being recalled as a pawn, which is completely different to recalling him to let him play! For Simms I hope it's the latter as he seems like a hard working player and doesn't deserve to be used!
Looking at the positive as I'm determined to see the best, even if it's not there. Everton recall Simms from somewhere he is happy, playing regular and developing because of 'mind games' Simms wants to be back because he can see the potential for the club and him so forces a move back here. Everyone's a winner apart from Everton who I don't care about
I would like to see it backfire on them. But let's see what's happens! I do think they have been ****ty on him but he might get to play and do well, if he does I will be happy for him like I say the lad gave his all!
I hope he has a great career, I really liked the lad, had clever movement and a good football brain. I think he would flourish here
And seems mature and professional easy to forget he is only 21. I hope if they do look to sell we are in for him, I also think Broadhead would do well in our team and would be a good addition and something different up front.
I honestly believe with the way we are promoting youth, the set up we have a lot of the younger players will be wanting to see what it's all about and consider us (even if only to be used as a stepping stone)
Aye I think you are right. And when clubs like man utd and man city are happy with the progress their players are making and the professionalism of the club its going to get to a point where we are their first choice for lads needing development.
And we get to enjoy some fantastic young talent, all be it for short periods, but to me that's better than the past few years of players that don't give a ****e
I Read a couple of weeks back they wanted to sell not loan Archer, for around 8 million. He can't get a look in at Villa.
Exactly, any top end PL u21 player should want to come here and be a part of the next goal of the season contender. The exposure we have had with sky games and our reputation of giving them a chance should mean they are knocking our door down tbh.
I’d like the idea of Simms on a permanent. He’s raw but has some proper potential. Not at the loss of Stewart though, no ****ing way. We’ve a real chance of playoffs here, even if we go up and come back down what does that £300 million do for the progress of the club? We have to do everything in our power to keep this side together and LND is a key component. We’d be discussing automatic promotion right now if he hadn’t been injured. I have no doubts in that.
