Seri Longman Oscar A tough one as any them could rightfully claim a place in the top 3...As a few posters have noted,a true team performance.
Seri - absolute quality Doc - why was he left out for Woo? Longman - this kid is a complete nuisance to the opposition, and will only get better with a consistent run in the first team, he absolutely gives his all and those that were barracking him in earlier games need to hang their heads in shame! PS Sorry Oscar but I just couldn’t leave either Longman or Doc out.
Longman - ripped them apart, couldn’t see a lot wrong with his goal Docherty - proved why he should start, no little skill as well as bags of heart Greaves - fabulous performance, won everything and marauded forward too Everyone played brilliantly barring Sayyadmanesh who either isn’t fit or has forgotten how to play football.
Seri Doc Longman Big shout out to Jones and Macca - Brum had two decent experienced forwards out there tonight. That was hard to pick just three, but Seri was sublime and Doc must have covered every blade of grass tonight.
I don’t think it is (harsh). I like him a lot, but he shouldn’t have started based on last night’s performance. It’s not his fault - he always gives his all. But he needs easing back in via the U-21s and shorter substitute cameos. Huge difference when Smith came on. We then carried a threat on both flanks and that was instrumental in finally getting the breakthrough.
I personally think Allahyar allowed us to get up the pitch more quickly and his presence totally stopped their right back getting forward..
Seri (his best for us in my opinion). Greaves ( captain fantastic ). Oscar. ( all the team deserve a mention)
Seri Greaves Longman/Docherty. Probably the best performance of the season so far, or at the very least, one of the best.
Doc - energy, passion, and not short of a few skills, much better on the ball and did the hard yards which allowed Seri to flourish Seri - pure quality Allayhar - rusty, but provided us with the pace that actually put their defence on high alert, give the lad a few games to get up to speed, I personally thought he was excellent given his first start after being out for a while. Kudos to all who played last night, they all played their part in a very good performance.
