What I really liked tonight from the manager was the 'if it aint broke dont fix it' school of substitutions... that and reading this board and adapting his playing out style.. We won 1st balls, 2nd balls, 3rd balls and probably some 4th balls... We have looked 100% better at the back since McLoughlin came back in.. And that must be the best 17 coaches Acun has ever had to pay for...
It really pisses me off this cos Slater had a really tidy 60 , Doch was a great asset and Longman was excellent , what do you do ?
Oh and by the way Macca was jumping so high to win headers our back 4 had so much air ball to deal with - they were awesome that’s exactly why Fleming doesn’t get in .
Probably more fumble towards fantasising to be honest, but that felt like the style we’ve been aiming for coming to fruition a bit. We just need more goals from somewhere - better officiating might be a start, mind.
Great win, noticed that when the ball came back to Ingram in a passing chain he booted it long. Good to see the adjustment from the last few games working effectively. Nice clean sheet on the road, should have been 3-0.
Watching from afar with limited coverage today. From comments here sounds like we deserved the win. Good goal from Oscar. Well done City, let's go on a run now.
2 consecutive away clean sheets too And 3 cleansheets in the last 4 away games That seemed impossible a few months ago
