Trouble is who in our team is going to 'smack' any of the opposition? It's what a lot of us think we are missing. And we are right.
Where has this narrative grown from? Slater has started almost every game under 3 different managers now, and the one before that desperately pushed for us to sign him. I don't see any sign that other managers rated him any less than Rosenior does. If anything, Rosenior is likely to be the one who benches him when we're able to get a proper winger in.
In a strange way I am looking forward to the match tonight. Our current playing style may suit us better to be away from home, less crowd pressure on the back 4 and Ingram when they do have to play out from the back. Brum should have more posession than us and thus we will have reduced number of opportunities to play out from the back and less chance of giving Birmingham a goal head start. If we can get some quality crosses into Oscar in the box we could pull off a good away win. Team news due in 15 mins, hopefully Coyle will be fit.
Unbeaten in 5 away from home... 7 if you include the two turkey matches... I know I know I know....!!!!!
Those saying it’s on the red button tonight. Which channel is that on as I’m not seeing any EFL football on sky. Cheers
