Anyone checked their loyalty points? Think mine is a bit messed up, has adjustments for Heerenveen and Grimsby from October 2019. WTF
Sunderland have a unique situation where the away support is exclusive and reserved. Unless you know someone, its impossible to attend or build loyalty points up.
Seen a few people have to chase the club up to add them on manually. Seems mental in this day and age tbf.
Ill wait until the NY, see if wigan & blackpool go on with the rest...then chase them with an email....the account history in mine & lads accounts just appears to have frozen as if system down
It's certainly a difficult situation. I see the same faces at away games and the lads I meet up with are relentless ... ... who knows how bad it could get if we finish the season.cbasing promotion.
That is correct You can’t build loyalty points Quite a few of us get away tickets on someone else’s card thus they gaining further loyalty points On your own you can’t even start to gain loyalty points unless you go to a game that allows you to gain your first points However it’s easy to use someone else’s points then they get more And you get none catch 22
They ate looking at reviewing the loyalty points system so that people have to use their own ticket to get an away ticket and bring back the rolling 3 year points accumulation
It's because some people give their season card number out to other people and just collect the points when it's not them going to games. I've no idea how they are going to solve it though. There was talk years ago about getting points for spending a certain amount in the club shop etc. but nothing came of it.
That's not exactly true. Me and my son had 3 points 4 years ago and now the both of us have over 80. Go to games and you get points. We acquired points fron the pizza cup, league cup and fa cup games. Quite a lot of our games have gone to general sale this year. People only seem to complain when they can't get to the popular games.
Pizza cup and other home cup games got us to over 10 points and then we went on from there. Would have been to a load more this season if it wasn't for Sky moving them. Geographically, it's pretty good this season
Yeah that’s a good point gain your points on the less popular games then you will have more of a chance for the big ones However all those cards been used for tag on supporters tickets will gain more points that you I’m afraid Then you go down the pecking order for tickets Again catch 22
There’s been plenty of games that have gone to General Sale this season alone, could be nearly 10 points worth, just got to put the miles in to get the rewards.
That's probably true, I'd guess there's half that have gone to GS. And around half that were night matches. Games like Swansea are already a pain, train issues make it even worse. Geographically we're at a disadvantage so our support is even more impressive for that. It's nice we have a couple of 'derby matches' up next
I prefer some of longer away games. We've stopped over at Bristol, Swansea, Watford and in London for the Luton game so far this season. Hotels are booked for Millwall and QPR. We've had some brilliant days.
